《back in time》是Pitbull于2012年三月发行的全新单曲，为电影《黑衣人III》主题曲。

Pitbull的最新动作是为电影《黑衣人3》演唱了主题曲“Back in Time”。

这首歌取样美国节奏布鲁斯组合Mickey & Sylvia于1956年发布的作品Love is Strange。这首歌在电影片段中可以听到，出现在探员J（威尔·史密斯扮演）穿越到1969年时乘坐电梯里的背景音乐。Pitbull说当自己接到导演Barry Sonnenfeld的电话后激动不已：“能参与到黑衣人系列中来真是我的荣幸。我特别尊敬Will Smith，特别是因为我们俩拥有相同的音乐背景。”

导演Sonnenfeld则说“我们想让主题曲能既有趣又时髦，我们将电影的标语用到歌曲中：‘想要了解未来，你必须回到过去（in order to understand the future, you have to go back in time）。’”他接着说，“我19岁的女儿鼓励我听听Pitbull，我一听就着迷了。他能为电影写出如此贴合主题的音乐，我也非常高兴。”

pitbull用他一贯的无厘头的曲调加上酷酷然而依然搞怪的rap，让听者心情不自觉地愉悦起来。作为电影《黑衣人III》主题曲，这首《Back In Time》的MV自然少不了超酷的墨镜，那支能让人失忆的电子枪，当然还有“外星人们”在party上的各种联欢。超级欢乐的动作片，整首MV都充满了欢乐。

Pitbull原名Armando Christian Pérez,作为一个古巴裔的美国mc，pitbull还是坚持用英文Rap ，最初他被邀请出现在单曲“lollipop”中，这让pitbull被Diaz Brothers经纪人团队发现。在结识了Lil Jon后，于2002年参与了 Lil Jon和the East Side Boyz的专辑Kings of Crunk。2003年oye版本还出现在速度与激情2的原声中。The Boatlift是他个人第3张专辑,专辑制作请来了Lil' Jon, Mr. Collipark, The Diaz Brothers, Jim Jonsin 主打单曲是Sticky Icky、I know you want me等。
